Fr Nicholas Schofield
Born in west London and educated locally at St Joan of Arc RC School in Rickmansworth, he read Modern History at Exeter College, Oxford, and studied for the Priesthood at the Venerable English College, Rome. Fr Nicholas was ordained on 24 May 2003 and worked as assistant priest at the Shrine of Our Lady of Willesden (2003-06) and Our Lady and St Joseph’s, Kingsland (2006-09). He came to Uxbridge in September 2009. In 2018 he was appointed Area Dean of Hillingdon.
Since 2005 Fr Nicholas has worked as Diocesan Archivist. A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Society of Antiquaries of London, he has written several books and provides a weekly column for the Catholic Times.
